Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

Wordnest is built so that we cannot see your data. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means.

The short version

Your words, notes, and progress are stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud. There are no Wordnest accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party analytics. Purchases are processed by Apple. That's essentially the whole policy; the rest is detail.

What data Wordnest handles

Wordnest stores the vocabulary you collect: words, definitions, your practice sentences, review history, streak data, and settings. All of it lives:

No accounts, no tracking

Purchases and subscriptions

Wordnest Pro is sold as an in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account; we never see your payment details.

To manage subscriptions (validating receipts, knowing whether your device is entitled to Pro, handling the free trial and restores), Wordnest uses RevenueCat as a processor. RevenueCat receives the App Store purchase receipt and an anonymous, randomly generated app identifier. It does not receive your words, your name, or your Apple Account details. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Your control over your data

Children

Wordnest does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is rated for general audiences.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Wordnest handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above. Because the app is designed around not collecting data, we expect changes to be rare.
